• Greek sausages

A rustic Greek dish made of country sausages and peppers. It's very simple and tasty! 


1. Place a skillet over high heat, add some olive oil and sauté the sausages untill nicely coloured. When ready, remove them with a slotted spoon and leave aside.

2. Add the rest of the olive oil and the chopped onions into the same pan. Sauté for a minute then add the chopped peppers. When lightly coloured add the garlic and tomato purée and sauté for one more minute.

3. Add the tomato sauce and the water, the oregano and if preffered some chilli pepper. Turn the heat down to medium and cook for about 5 min.

4. Add the sausages and cook until the sauce thickens and the peppers are tender. Check for seasoning and add salt and pepper.

Serve while still hot with some crusty bread, or with rice, mashed potatoes, or cous cous. Enjoy!
